Project Description
Initially a game design course project, I turned it into a small polished game. The main reason I am so proud of this project is because of the production going on without a hitch and being very time efficient.
"Gnorp is attempting to come back to the earth to wreak havoc on the people! Use a variety of powerups to stop him dead in his tracks before it is too late!"
My role
As I was a solo developer, I was responsible for everything in the game. Though most importantly, the planning and time managment. The entire prototyping phase was done in about ~20 hours, after that I restarted the project from scratch for a clean slate and programmed the game / made the art and effects in another 20 hours.
Looking back
I think it's a decent game, and more importantly one I managed to finish properly and can be happy with. Highly likely due to restricting myself to a planning and only being able to spend a determined amount of time on it. The entire process was a bunch of fun and people seemed to enjoy it wholeheartedly.
